Friday already... that was fast!

This week blew right by, but at least it was pretty much a good one. As far as scrapping goes it was a lot of fun anyway lol. Plus I got a few things done that had been haunting me, so I'm relieved and ready to move on!

Yesterday Nicole and Andrea Burns released a new kit called Mango Sorbet:


and I was all over it! I am a slow scrapper, usually takes me forever to do just 1 page. I was so proud of myself because I opened this up and just went crazy scrapping with it... and I finished a page in the same afternoon! WOO HOO... that's a huge deal to me since I get interrupted every 15 seconds even when it's "my time" LOL. Here's my page with it, starring my wild child Reagan (aka Goo :) )


I also used Nicole's new Wooden Alpha, it coordinates perfectly with Mango Sorbet!! I love the texture on it... Nicole's alphas are making me a junkie lately. I seriously can't get enough of them, they're awesome!

I love that memory, one of the best ones I have. It's the first time Izzy met Reagan, he promised her to be the best big bwuaddah forever lol. Then he kissed her on the forehead and said "I kissed her little pink head!" lol. He loves her so much, they are so good to each other... I'm one lucky Mom!
Well, that's it for me right now. I hear Goo singing in her crib so that means nap time must be over. Though it wasn't a long one... Daddy took her with him to run errands today and she came home with a few more new Yo Gabba Gabba stuffed buddies. Well he put her down for her nap with all 4 of them that she has now... IN the crib with her lol. She sounds like she's taping an episode in there singing at the top of her lungs LOL. Off to play, catch ya later!

Lazy me!

Wow, has it really been over a week since I've posted anything?! What a slacker! Well, I haven't had too much going on... I've been relaxing a lot and not around here as much because hubby ended up with a few surprise days off! WOOOOO! We didn't do anything worth talking about, but it was so much fun getting to have him home :D We miss him when our normal schedule is in rotation!

He freaked me out though and it's been hard to look him in the face LOL, he accidentally shaved his mustache off! EEEEEKKKK!!! It's been a few days and is growing back, but he just doesn't look like himself and it's such a drastic change LOL. The night he did it I just kept running away from him screeching LOL... and of course the kids followed suit LMAO! It was kinda like having the "Nightmare Forest" inside together!! I love how stupid things like that are still so much fun to us... here's to hoping we never grow up!!


Well, I have been working a lot on LOs from an awesome new collab, but you can't really tell by looking at my gallery!!! Did you see the banner under my header? YES! Monica and Flergs are doing another collab together!! I'm sure no one can forget how AMAZING What Dreams May Come is, and I promise you this one is just as amazing!!! It comes out September 1st to celebrate STUDIO MGL!! Yes, Mon's moving on up LOL... to Scrabookgraphics.com!!! She has a few other surprises up her sleeves for her big day as well... I will keep you informed when the boss says so! :D

Guess what we'll be doing at the Sugarplum Paperie blog starting this week on every Friday? Oh, I hate guessing... I'll spill it! CT Challenges YAY!!! It sounds like so much fun, I can't wait to start! I will be hosting one the week before Halloween (seems appropriate right!?) and Crystal will be the lucky girl kicking it off THIS Friday! You have to make sure you join us, we have such a great time together and I can't wait to have more people join in on our fun!

I also got to dig my hands back into Dusk Till Dawn from Studio Flergs... I love it more each time I look at it. Not to sound like I'm kissing her a$$ or anything lol, it's just painfully obvious Megs has been my fav designer since I found digi scrapping! I'm a bit of a Flergaholic :D. Being on her team is just insanely awesome to me, and my husband is happy because the money doesn't disappear mysteriously from my paypal whenever she has a new kit come out LOL! I got to scrap another of my favorite pics this week with it. Not of my munchkins for once, but of a little girl I love just as much as my own! This is my very good friend Marci's kiddo Maelle!! LOVE HER!!! Isn't that THE most perfect photo of a 1 year old? It's from last October right around the time both of our girls turned 1!

Ooooh I just want to squeeze her LOL.

The first thing I saw of this kit while she was making it was the papers. I still haven't gotten a grip over the intense beauty of those... so seriously take a good hard look at each part because it is such an original kit, you just wont believe it! Megs has also promised another kit to go along with this one, called Dawn till Dusk... all about the day! ***gasp*** I can't wait to see her take on that... one more SQUEEEEEEE from me!

What's that strange sound? Oh! It's quiet!

It's been so nice today, the kids have been soooo good and hubby decided to stay home from school (which I know he shouldn't but it is so nice to have him home at night more than 1 time a week!) and it's been a lot of fun to spend time together! He also went to the park with Izzy, Lexi, my nieces, and my SIL while Goo napped and so I had some quiet time to myself...woo hoo! I can't believe how much I got done too, amazing what happens when you can finish one complete thought at the same moment you start it LOL! Izzy gave me the best laugh today too, I still keep giggling when I think about it. He is on the stairs and he yells for me, I say "What?!" He says "Is our neighbors dog a boy dog or a girl dog?" I say it's a girl dog" He looks at me really annoyed and confused which I think is because the dog has the same name lol, it's Isabella but they call her Izzy for short. I said "Just because you share a name doesn't make you both boys or both girls, it's really common for names to be used for both genders." He says "WHHHYYYYY is it a girl Mommy?" and Dad jumps in with "Because it doesn't have a winky!" Then the annoyed confused face stares back at us again while we try not to smirk or giggle, and then he YELLS "YEAH, WELL.......IT SHOULD!!!!!" and stomps on up the stairs. LOLOL omg I can still hear him and it was just so funny. He was really pissed off LOLOL.

Cheese angels?

I am aware that makes no sense to regular people, but if you were Goo's mom you'd totally get it. I was making her dinner last night and used a piece of cheese while making it. I didn't use the whole piece, and left the remainder of it on the counter. Well after dinner I got her out of her high chair and cleaned her up, and watched her run off and grab her coloring books off the same counter. What I didn't notice was her grab that piece of cheese I foolishly left out. I watch her plop down on the floor behind me with her colors and her books and start coloring like a mad woman. So I turned my back and got back to cleaning her high chair from dinner. About every 20 or 30 seconds I glance back and see nothing out of the ordinary with her, she's got a few books open and crayons everywhere and she's going to town on all of them with a huge grin. I keep cleaning and think... that was a very sneaky grin she had, what is she up to??? I turn again to see that she has now thrown the cheese into her coloring masterpiece. In about 30 seconds she has smeared it everywhere she could have without getting up lol. The best part was her feet... she didn't want to stop coloring, so she was smearing it all with her feet! It was squished between her toes, all up her calves, and she was swooshing her feet back and forth and making a pattern that resembles snow angels LOL! Which is where cheese angels came from, it was the only thing that kept me from getting crying. I said "I like your cheese angels!" and the GIANT smile she gave me made the mess no big deal to clean up at all lol. Those coloring books had to go though, there was no shaking the cheese smell coming off of them! Ahh the highlight of my weekend lol, I live a wild life! I did get some scrapping done... with all of those awesome new releases I showed you on Friday! WOO HOO!

I was hyperventilating for this kit to come out too LOL! The previews had me drooling! I loved it, it is SO unique... I don't know how she does it. Can she make life any easier on us or what?!

Another one that I had to devour upon contact, isn't it beautiful! Everything looks so real and authentic and I love the finished results of all of my pages with her goodies. Definitely cherished memories I will display proudly!

Ellie's new CT blog

When Ellie started her CT a few weeks ago, one of the things she asked us was if we wanted a CT blog. We all said yes, but oh my goodness Tracy and Melanie just took off with it and it is AMAZING! Oh I have had this blog sitting here for a while now and haven't done a thing to get it moving along! I have my lazy days and all, but come on! This was ridiculous!

I have no idea why I made a blog, but I did anyway so here it is lol. I really wanted it to show off the insanely talented designers that I CT for. For all they do for me, the least I could do is shoot my BIG mouth off about them here. Which I think I'll do for now and let that be the end of my jabbering... it will only lead me to trouble if I keep it up :)
